An elaborate console finished on all four sides in Fratino style, reminiscent of a refectory table. The craftsman designed the entire console starting with the frieze on the central drawer copied from a Renaissance chest of drawers from the region of Tuscany. The structure that frames the unusual drawer is in American walnut. The four legs in lyre form converge towards the centre to support a top-shaped pinnacle. The polisher, during the finishing, opted to treat and roughen the surface of this piece to create an aged effect.
The description above specifies that the console is finished on all four sides to indicate that even the rear, which is usually positioned against a wall, was finished in the same way as the other three sides. This detail makes it possible to use this console in any setting without having to put it against a wall, as it can be positioned even in the centre of the room.
