Refined chest of drawers in 18th-century style, made in spruce and later veneered with walnut and cherry wood. The veneer was applied on very old, precious wood using a curious technique that unfortunately was not passed down to new generations.
The piece has three roomy drawers and an elegant topper with smaller compartments useful for storing accessories and tiny objects.
The polish and walnut colour of this chest of drawers was applied by hand and then finished with bees wax, further enhancing the carpenter’s working of the veneer.
