An unusual reproduction of a mid-1700s Italian bureau. We can note how the legs have a pyramidal form, indicating that the cabinetmaker was influenced by the French style (Louis XVI). This piece comes with a hidden chair that, when needed, transforms the bureau into a writing table. The elegant drop was carved by hand and embellished by the decorator with gold leaf. The body is in solid spruce embellished with panels made of walnut and chestnut briarwood contoured by an inlaid fillet in maple. We offer the opportunity to personalise the bureau through the selection of the fabric, providing sample photos (based on the preferred style and fibre of the fabric you indicate).
