Information: reproduction of a pair of paintings representing floral compositions. If one looks closely, the meticulousness with which these two compositions were painted is outstanding. The use of bright colours is one of the dominant characteristics of the Baroque period.
The paintings were enhanced by Baroque-style frames in hand-carved lime wood. The frame was lacquered in cobalt blue and gold leaf.
The two paintings are sold together as a pair.
