Dresser reproduced by following the dictates of the fashion at the time (XVII century in Northern Italy). The manufact on the front of the two drawers presents an S shaped movement that is connected to the two slanted side doors. The carpenter has livened up the austere structure by applying Ferrara’s area walnut root which is delimited by an inlaid thin rosewood thread on the front part and the top. The body is supported by 4 legs which are decorated with leaf-shaped carving on all four sides and recall the shape of the balustrades. The base has been completed by adding a decorative crosspiece. The dresser was made out of solid larch, Ferrara’s area walnut root and solid Italian walnut wood. The finishing is realized with the use of revived shellac and a coat of beeswax.
