Original dresser of the seventeenth century, coming from the Po Valley area.
The visible parts – such as the panel, the sides, the front and the legs – were built using solid walnut wood.
The three drawers, decorated by five carved tiles slabbed with walnut burl each, show a particular finishing called «bas-relief».
The dresser has been carefully restored and it is ready for used.
The shellac finishing has enhanced the natural brown color of the walnut wood and it has highlighted the darker grain of the wood which makes it even more precious.
