An elegant pair of noblewomen painted by hand on a round support of old wood. These ladies are the fruit of the artist’s imagination and were intended to emulate the tradition of portraiture that was popular among the noble families of that time.
The backgrounds of both subjects are simple, essentially anonymous, precisely because the objective is not to distract the viewer’s eye from the lovely faces of the two ladies.
Thanks to the dimensions and the shape of these two small paintings, they can easily be used as a charming decorative detail to enhance any setting.
