An unusual bookcase obtained from the transformation of an eighteenth-century confessional salvaged from a church in the territory of Veneto. The central part of the bookcase consists of two glass doors, the same that were used by the priest to enter the confessional. The two side sections of the bookcase were created by adapting the side part of the confessional used by the faithful during their confession to the front part. The original depth of the confessional was reduced and adapted to function as a bookcase. We fully understand that it takes some imagination to understand and envision how this bookcase was obtained, but if you contact us we would be very pleased to provide more details.

Inside the two central doors there are four shelves. The original wood of the confessional is Italian walnut. The visible interior is covered with a yellow damask, but upon request it can be replaced with polished walnut. The bookcase can be disassembled into three parts with standard binding screws. This bookcase is one-of-a-kind and embodies all the artistic sacredness of its time.
