Original dresser dating from the beginning of the nineteenth century, that recalls the Neoclassic style which started to spread around 1775 in Italy. The elements that reference to this time are the simple shape of the dresser and the carvings located on the front of the three drawers which have been downsized.
The structure has been built by using precious walnut wood. The peculiarity of this dresser can be identified, once again, by looking at the carvings on the drawers. Indeed, to to make them look like inlaid, the carvings were filled with chalk. This technique was used by the carpenters who were not expert about inlaid.
This furniture has undergone a simple restoration process, since it was found in very good condition.
