Curious sideboard in the Emilian 1600s style characterised by the bas relief in the form of a windmill, typical of this region. This piece of furniture has four doors and four drawers that provide a considerable storage capacity. The sideboard was constructed in antique Italian walnut, which was later subjected to a particular treatment that resulted in a more “used” look. Initially we defined the sideboard as being «curious» because it bears a very particular detail that makes it one-of-a-kind. At the centre of the carved windmills, there are some brass buttons that can be seen only by looking very closely.
The presence of these metal elements set into the wood lend the sideboard an uncommon importance. The warm colour of the walnut further enhances the hand-carved bas relief elements.
