Antique and elegant console with mirror coming from the Veneto region. The supposed time period of this work dates back to the end of the eighteenth century. Indeed, it was during those years (approximately between 1775 and 1995) that Italy was undergoing the influence of France and its Louis XVI style. The re-introduction of clean and simple lines gave birth to the Neoclassicism.
The turned and tapered legs, together with the engraved embellishments (such as acanthus golden leaves, meanders and rosette) are the main proofs of the period of provenance.
The console has undergone a simple yet conservative restoration process, given the fact that at the moment of discovery, it was found in optimal condition.
